| Why can you not access Public folders 'internet newsgroups' through the
system managemtn mmc, if you put a host header into that website? an error
says don't exist. if you leave the host headers blank it works...

| Ok I tried to reproduce this by adding host headers to my public virtual
directory and I am not able to. First of all try to add a new HTTP virtual
server in Exchange system manager and put the host header there. If you get
the same results then put the steps needed so I can try and reproduce this
locally.
Thanks!

| Thank you for your quick reply,
The default website that Exchange has installed to I renamed to
webmail.inquery.biz, I clicked on advance to right of where I specify an IP
address and typed in webmail.inquery.biz for the host header. Then I went
into Systems Management for Exchange and drilled down into Public folders,
and get an error when I click on it, saying "Hit F5 to refresh..." I went
back to the default web site and took of the host header which I specified
and I was able to see the pulic folder "internet newsgroups" without any
problem.
