Author Moving "mailroot"?

Is there a way to move c:\inetpub\mailroot to a different drive with more
space? This is a fresh installation and I'm not yet concerned with saving
anything (messages or settings).

Thanks.

You can move the mailroot directory via ADSI edit

Install ADSI edit from the windows CD ,ADSI is a part of the support
tools.In the ADSI or LDP.exe locate the following :
DC=Your Dmain,CN=Configuration,CN=Serv
ices,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=ORG,
CN=Administrative Groups,CN=First Administrative Group,CN=Servers,CN=Your
server,
CN=Protocols,CN=SMTP,CN=1

click the properties of CN=1 in the attribute find the msExchSmtpDirectory
for each folder.
Change this value to the new location.

Before this operation stop the Exchange services.
