hi,
As I understood the signature of the log file MUST be the same as the
signature of the DB file.
So I did a dump of the E00.log and saw that on the first part there was a
signature number diffrent from the signature of thee BD file, and then there
was the part of the dump that realted to the priv1.edb and priv1.stm. On
this part there was the signature of the DB.
SO is it ok ????

Yes it is ok .

Its called cross signature checking , the log has its own signature
and the signature of all the database attached to it.
The database has its own signature and the signature of
log files attached to it.
During startup the signatures are crossed checked.
