No options in Exchange Tasks
|
|
|
| Hello...
When I create a user in ADUC that does not have the Exchange admin tools
installed; then attempt mail-enable the user in an ADUC with the EX admin
tools installed; the only options I receive in exchange tasks is "ENABLE
INSTANT MESSAGING".
A search of the KB has yielded no results.
Has anyone else experinced/fixed this problem?
I have Exchange2000 SP3 on Win2KSP3; although this problem existed always in
my orginization.
Thanks
Sean

Lots have. You need the right DLL's registered in the machine to get
the additional tabs/tasks to appear. Install either the Exchange
System Manager or the ADC Management components on the machine to
register those DLL's.

| Thanks for the quick response....
I installed the ADC Management component and was given a new option in
Exchange tasks: "delete exchange attributes". I exercised that option on
the affected users and then went back into Exchange tasks and was given the
normal set of choices. Thanks a lot.
