| My university would like to use Public folders as the
means for Address list Views and Distribution list
management. Departments would create contact lists in
public folders, users would then in the outlook client
check the box that makes the contact list show up in their
address list views in Outlook for all list they want to
use. The university would rather implement a solution like
this rather then using distribution groups and also
contacts for external mailing lists that users need to
show up in the Address book view.
My question is what are some of the pros and cons to this,
and has anyone else implemented a solution like this?
