Measure mail traffic

| Is there a way without purchasing a 3rd party product to measure basic
statistics on an Exchange 2000 system? All I really need to know at this
point is how much mail we are processing, inbound and outbound if
possible. Appreciate any help!

| Sure...if you want to try and read through all the message logs manually.
You really need a good third party software product, such as Promodag, if
you want to easily get granular, detailed reporting from Exchange.

| What about performance monitor? I have been trying to get it working, but
when/if i ever do it looks like it can provide these stats also.
