BAsically setting up a new exchange 2000
in a windows 2000 active directory domain
DNS servers are local the exchange server is also
running DNS,

here is the DNS queries
------------------------
Default Server: ns1.incubatorbd.com
Address: 65.242.9.227

> set type=MX
> incubatorbd.com

Server: ns1.incubatorbd.com
Address: 65.242.9.227

incubatorbd.com MX preference = 10, mail exchanger =
bdw2kexc01.incubatorbd.com
bdw2kexc01.incubatorbd.com internet address =
10.2.30.74
---------------------------

it answers on port 25 and 110 from outside networks
as well as trusted networks.
DNS is also allowed to both servers through the firewall.

--------------------------------------------

using Outlook setup to use Exchange
users can send mail OUTBOUND but can NOT recieve mail
inbound there is no message on the bounce, other then
undeliverable mail.

SP3 installed on both exchange and OS (2000)

not sure where to go with this tracking the mail and see
where or why its getting bounced.

incubatorbd.com uses mail.incubatorbd.com at 65.242.9.228 to accept
mail from the outside world.

I get the expected NDR if I send to "bounce@incubatorbd.com".
