Hello

I have 2 exchanges : (1) Win2kServer SP2 + Exchange 2k SP2
(2) Win2KAdv Server Cluster SP2 + Exchange
2k Cluster-Aware SP3

(1) was installed first and all request go to him, When I have added (2)
into the same admin group, and when I click on (1)->properties, I did not
see any checkbox regarding "Front End server". But on (2) I saw this
checkbox (unchecked, for sure).

my questions :
1) If I check (2) as Front End Server, will there possibility to rollback?
2) Will it appear checkbox regarding FrontEnd Server on (1)?
3) If User that have the mailbox on (2) will connect (1) since (1) will not
be Front End Server, will he be able to reach his mailbox?

Any Feedback will be appriciated

Front End/Back End requires Enterprise Edition. If you do not see the
checkbox, it means you installed the standard edition of Exchange, and it's
not possible.

You should read more about FE/BE architecture here:
