Author Storing of relayed mail

Hi,

I have a user that uses Outlook Express at home to send mail with our
Exchange2000 server through the SMTP server (relaying). He wants to be able
to have this mail message in his Sent Items Folder in Outlook 2002 when he
is at the office. So basically Exchange will have to store the relayed
message like it stores any other outgoing message. It is possible to
configure Exchange to do this.

Regards
Bertus

Not possible. Have him use OWA or VPN with Outlook (MAPI) at home if he
wants to keep everything in the same place.

Switch the user to MAPI and a VPN connection to the network.

Otherwise, their isn't much way to solve the problem.

You could also use MAPI directly without a VPN, but it requires exposing
ports to the Internet. How about using Outlook and Offline Synchronization?
