Author no POP3 access? help!

When trying to access our Exch2K server via POP3, the password is rejected
with the error message "A required privilege is not held by the client". I
can find nothing in the MS KB about this, and its driving me crazy! I have
tried logging in with "username", "domain/username", and
"domain/username/exch. mailbox", but still the same result.
The Exch. server is running on Win2k Svr, sp2, and Exchange Server SP2. I
have also granted admin privs to all Exchange services, but still cant
connect. Any help is appreciated!!
