Author Cannot change permission due to Deleted User Account in Outlook

In Outlook 2000, I set up the Editor Permission for 3 user
groups in the Calendar. After I deleted one of the user
group fromthe Active Directory, I can no longer change the
permission in Calendar, I always get error message when
trying to apply the change. Re-creating the user does not
help.

Any idea how I can fix the problem? I am using Exchange
2000, Outlook 2000 and W2K server.

Thanks in advance.

Delete the group from the permissions list.
Reboot Outlook and add the new group.
