Author release hard disk space

Hi everyone
i have the problem in this weeks , i found my exchange 2000 server hard disk
space is low, i remind my users to delete the mail , but the disk space is
no change in this actions .anyone can suggest me how to relase the hard disk
space , but i don't like to use eseutil utily , becasue this will dismount
my information store.

Have you looked in your mdbdata folder to see what files are there? If you
haven't had a successful backup there will be numerous log files there
adding to many GB.

Just a thought

I have a lot of files there too, almot all of them called
like E0000xxx.log all have the same size. Can we get
delete them all??

1. Check "enable circular logging"
2. Make Offline Defrag (eseutil.exe) // make sure to backup all the data
(.edb and .stm) before beginning
