Backup file skipped...
|
|
|
| When I perform a backup, every time this line is in my backup log file:
\Program Files\Exchsvr\MDBDATA\E00tmp.log was skipped.
Is this ok? The other log files in that directory are backed up fine.
Thanks,
M

Are you sure you're using an Exchange Aware version of Backup
software? It sounds like you're doing File Level backups.

| I am using Veritas Backup Exec for Exchange. I backup the entire filesystem
and Exchange as well. This is the only file that does not get backed up out
of everything.

| Look at the Exchange Disaster Recovery Whitepapers for details on how to do
backup and recovery.
DON'T try to backup everything in the Exchsvr directory.
