Author forcing passwd change in works not in OWA ???

When I force users to change pasword at next logon, nobody can login to OWA
anymore
Ther comes no popupscreen with : "You should chamge your password now" or
so.
Who knows why en how and where and what....
This also goes for a user who connect with ftp.....
