| EXCHSRV 2000 (SP2); WIN2000 ADVANCE SERVER (SP2)
1.
I want to change password according to OWA,but after I did the following
step by step, when I change my password using OWA ,it still displays" could
not find website"
what is the matter on earth?
2.
I want to clean all mailboxes later than 90 days,Is there any cleanup agent
tool to do it?
I know there is a tool to clean mailbox in Exchange Server 5.5
but where is it in Exchange Server 2000?
3.
I cleaned all mailboxes later than 60 days in EXchange Server 5.5,but the
data size(backup data size ) is still as big as before,WHY?
4.how could OWA client send mail to the others by addresses(addresses is
empty)
Should I type all address by myself? why there is no such a list as outlook?
From Windows Explorer, verify that the physical directory exists at
C:\WINNT\System32\Inetsrv\Iisa
dmpwd. It should contain nine *.htr files.
1. From within the IIS Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in, open the
default Web site.
2. Right-click the default Web site and point to New on the pop-up menu, and
then click Virtual Directory.
3. On the second screen of the wizard, give the virtual directory an alias
of IISADMPWD. On the third screen, give the folder a physical directory
location of C:\WINNT\System32\Inetsrv\Iisa
dmpwd. On the fourth screen,
select Read, Run Script, and Execute Access privileges. Click finish on the
fifth screen of the wizard to prompt creation of the folder.
At this point, you can change user passwords through Outlook Web Access.
Passwords must be entered in a DOMAIN\Username format to be changed.
Additionally, all password complexity and history requirements must be met
when you change a password or an error will be returned. NOTE: The IISADMPWD
requires a secure sockets layer (SSL) connection to work. This is designed
to avoid changing passwords across a network through HTTP, which is clear
text. After you click the submit button, the protocol is changed from HTTP
to HTTPS. If necessary, follow the steps in Help to obtain a server
certificate for the Web server
(http://localhost/iishelp/iis/htm/core/iiocrsc.htm on a server with IIS
installed). You can also use Microsoft Certificate Services 2.0 (which is
included with Windows 2000) to sign a server certificate that can be used by
IIS to enable an SSL session.

| 1. Search TechNet for IISADMPWD.
2. Exchange 2000 has the Mailbox Cleanup Agent integrated into the product.
Look at the default recipient policy.
3. The database never shrinks itself. You have to run ESEUTIL /D to make
that happen. ESEUTIL is not for the inexeperienced. Test this in your lab
first, or else be warned that you might well screw up your database. Don't
bother unless you really need the space reclaimed.
4. I'm not sure I understand the question. OWA has a recipient search
capability for users in your global address list, but no tabular list--you
must do a search. I think it's a minor inconvenience, but kind of a
requirement given the limitations of HTML. OWA supports Outlook contacts,
too. So everything you need is pretty much there, if not in exactly the
format you want.
