Apostrophe in Display Name causes SMTP 451

I have a user whose surname contains an apostrophe as in O'Brien. The
users's display name contains the apostrophe (not the email address) and
I've some messages bounce with no message tracking or event log entries.
However, the sender's mail server reports the following:
SMTP Error: 6 Unexpected (or none) response from the SMTP server after RCPT
TO: command. 451 Cannot check <user's email address> at this time - please
try later.
Has anyone seen this type of problem before? I found a couple of KB articles
referencing quotation marks/apostrophe in the display name causing issues
with OWA and Schedule.
For now, I have removed the apostrophe from the display name but I would
like confirmation that it caused the problem.
Many Thanks,
K. Leonard

| Sounds like a limitation on the recipient's e-mail system. You might
contact that system's Postmaster.
