Deleting EX 5.5 from EX2K site
|
|
|
| Ready to delete the last EX5.5 server from the site. All
mailboxes moved, all public and system folders replicated,
except a system folder under Events Root. The subfolder,
EventConfig_servername, is named for the old EX5.5 server.
I found 1 reference that the Events Root contains scripts
for the Exchange server 5.5 compatible event service.
Could not find a MS article to replicate this folder to an
EX2K server, I believe this should not be needed in a
native mode EX2K site. Anyone replicate this folder or not
and the results.
Thanks

| If you don't have any event scripts running on that old server, don't worry
about it.
