Author Public Folder access within System Manager-HELP!

I receive the exact error message (80004005) as documented
in Microsoft article Q289492.

I have checked and confirmed all solutions given in that
article, however my public folders still cannot be opened
in system manager without getting an error. I even
upgraded to Exchange SP3, but now I just get a different
error when I try to expand the folders. The error is
that "the operation failed due to an invalid format in the
HTTP request. ID no: c1030af0. Exchange System Manager"

Please help.
