Upgrading to Exchange 2000

| Well, we have the new Exchange Server installed. ADC is working. We can
move mailboxes from the 5.5 system to the 2000 system.
Our next step is to put McAfee Groupshield on the 2000 server. Would like
to know if anyone encountered any problems with this. Especially since we
have the 5.5 server on a previous version. They will not conflict will
they?
When we get ready to shutdown the 5.5 server, are there any items we need to
be aware of? We will need to change the NAT addressing on the router to
point to Server 4 not Server 2.
I just want to know if there is anything I need to be aware of since Server
2 (5.5 Exchange) is talking to Server 4 (Exchange 2000).
Coming into home plate. Just want to make sure the catcher is not blocking
the plate.
Thank You for your time and assistance.

| Tim-
I can't speak to your first question concerning McAfee Groupshield. I have
read in this ng a few times, ppl recommending not using it on Exchange 2000.
I use Symantec Anti-virus/filter ver 3.02 (recently released).
As for the second part, take a look at:
HOW TO: Migrate from Exchange Server 5.5 to Exchange 2000 Server

I found it very helpful!
