| Exchange 2000 SP2 on Win2K Server SP3. I've got email for two domains
being delivered to Exchange by setting the second domain in the default
recipient policy (and pointing the MX records appropriately).
But it's not really working the way I'd like it too. Is there a way to
have a single Win2K account receive email for multiple email addresses
on multiple domains such that when the mail is delivered to the user in
Outlook the "To" shows the alias address (the address the sender used),
and when the user replies the "From" is also set to the alias?
For example:
AD Domain: foo.com
AD User: user1
Mail server: mail.foo.com
Second email domain: bar.com
both foo.com and bar.com have MX to mail.foo.com
default recipient policy has both foo.com and bar.com handled by
mail.foo.com.
user1@foo.com has additional email addresses set up in ADUC:
webguy@foo.com and webguy@bar.com.
If someone then sends email to webguy@bar.com it shows up in user1's
mailbox, but with user1@foo.com as the recipient. If user1 replies to
the email it shows user1@foo.com as the sender. In both those cases,
how do I get it to show webguy@bar.com as the recipient and the replier?
Thanks heaps!
