hello,
I have a pretty basic question,hope someone helps me
understanding this.
Where deos javascript fit in with classic ASP.
Has java script been replaced by something else in
asp.net or is it still necesasary to leard javascript if
you want to make pages in asp.net.

much of the client side code generated by studio.net is javascript,
espcially the client side portion of the validation controls.

There is still a place for using javascript for things like rollover
effects, dhtml, etc.
