Yes, of course.
1. Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools ->
Component Services.
2. Select Computers -> My Computer -> COM+ Applications.
3. Right-click COM+ Applications, select New -> Application and go from
there.
Hope this helps, and thanks for choosing .NET!

I am a member. Or was. I forget. I cleaned up my memberships last
week and might have signed off.

| Don't forget to specify a proper account with permissions
otherwise your DDRAW.DLL will not work unless you are
logged in!

Shoot, you're right. I would create a separate account called
I_USRDIRECTX for this.

| I would like to apologise for my unfamiliarity with your described process in how to add ddraw.dll to the Component Services.
Could you continue your explaination after your last instruction to create a new COM+ Application? |
