Hi, I've bought the MCSD training kit 2nd edition and so far a lot of
reviews are indicating that the kit isn't a good source for the exam.
I've also read that a lot of the EXAM CRAM books work very well, can
anybody please tell me, according to their experience, what books are
the best for studying MCSD exam? in terms of studying for exam 70-306
which book will be the best??

Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thx in advance.

For 305 & 306, I use Mike Gunderloy's books.

How are the Mike Gunderloy's books?? Are they good?? Are they enough
to prepare for the exam? Or do you also accompany your studying with
some practice exam or other sources? I really want to be very
well-prepared before I take the exam, I personally do not have much
hands on experience on Windows Application, but plenty on Web
Application using .NET, so just for the sake of it, I would like to
know more about how you guys preparing the exam, and if there's any
book that will be good enough as one single source to prepare an
individual for the exam without going for a second source for more
information. btw, does anybody kno where I can find "cheap"
Transcender material? 'cuz they charge a grip on the practice exams.

A book is just a start point. It gives you a plan what to
study and topics overview. You MUST go through .NET
Framework SDK material (Quickstarts, How To..., Tutorials).
