Author Question on 70-316 ( Setting traceSwitch from the command)

This came up twice on the exam and I can't find it any place in the on-line
help.... Sure you can get them yourself from the command line but the test
intimated that it was a built in capability... --- I'd never run across it
before... If it doesn't exist then I hosed up two questions and still
passed.

Unfortunately you were about as clear as mud on what the question is. The
Subject just doesn't do it for me.

Perhaps if you want an answer you better restate the issue.

There were two questions on changing the TraceSwitch setting in a post
deployment environment.. One answer --- change the config file, the other
answers where a command line option on the exe /Trace "SwitchName" 4 ( set
SwitchName to verbose).

Still a little bit muddy, but if you're asking "When faced with two answers:
config file or command line, which one is right?", then I'd have to go with
config file, as I've never heard of a command line option (not that you
couldn't build it in to your app of course by just parsing arguments).

Back in Beta1 you could set it with a _Switch_ environment variable or by
going directly into the registry, but config files sure are a lot easier.
