Author MCSD exams VS.NET specific?

I have been using .NET for a while and am planning to become an MCSD,
but I was wondering whether the MCSD exams assumed one was using
Visual Studio.NET? I use another IDE. Will I need to learn to learn
how to use Visual Studio.NET?

Yes, you will.

Stuff like breakpoints and debug windows. The .NET exams have content based
on VS.NET 2002 (not the new 2003), including the framework.

Pro, Enterprise, Educational - it doesn't really matter what version.

Good luck on your MCSD.NET.

There are a few, although you may find that the questions only relate
to the IDE.

If you understand dot net, you will get by.

Duh, Kline. What else would VS.NET questions relate to?

Probably. I remember there were a few specific questions about debugging in
VS.NET, though you could probably figure out the answers for these without
using VS.NET.

I only had one or two questions even remotely related to using the
IDE. In fact there were more questions in 71-300 about the ide, e.g
enterprise templates.

Exactly.
