to answer the first part of your qestion if you look at
the questions they will always tell you if there is a
partial credit saying somthing like "A point will be
awarded for each correct answer." if it doesn't say that
it want's all the correct answers to get it right.
on the second point I think you have just got a dodgy
peice of software.
