Author Questions in Exam...

All, here are some questions that I would like to put to
the group...

1. In many questions, I have seen that there is too much
meaningless Mumbo Jumbo(stories) about companys
requirements or situations etc etc, and examinees waste
time reading all that story. When you read the last 2 or
3 lines you get the point of what is being asked in the
question. How do folks handle these questions. I have
adopted a strategy that if the question is more than 5
lines, I will read the last 2 or 3 lines and then read
the answers and see if I can answer correctly and many
times it works.

2. Has anybody contested any question in the exam, that
is they thought that the question itself was wrong or
what was being asked is wrong.

3. How does Microsoft handle questions such as "Select
all correct choices" and the correct ans is say
like "a,d,g" and you have answered "a,d,i". Does one get
partial credit for getting 2 correct out of 3.

Weird Situaion
--------------
I was giving a sample paper that comes along with the CD
in the Microsoft Tool Kit. I was on the last question and
only 1min and some seconds were left to go. I answered
the last question and instead of hitting End Test button,
I just waited for the time to expire hoping that when the
time expires, it will automatically scan my answers and
show the score. Nothing of that sort happened. When the
time expired, and since I did not hit End Test, the
screen got hung. I tried my best to complete the test so
that I could get a score, but there was no way possible
for me to complete that test. Now when I try the exam CD
again, it always tells me that I have one exam pending,
and if I want to finish it. If I click YES, it takes me
back to the hung screen and then once again I have to
CTRL+ALT+DEL and kill the process. I think there is no
way out of this situation.

Has anybody else faced a simillar situation? I hope that
something like this does not happen in the real exam....

Most questions with tricky answers may require you to read more than the last 2 or 3 lines to sort out the differences between the choices provided.

I have never been confronted with a situation where all the answers were wrong ( maybe it is just the exam situation and the adrenaline that goes with it)
