Any microsoft certification will do you little good without real world
experience. You need to attempt to find an entry level IT role,
however these are few and far between, even with a good computer
relevant degree. Your Engineering degree will help you though.
The vs 98 C++ exams will not prove you have good C+ skills as there is
very little content in both the exams regarding general C++
programming. The exams cover topics relating to microsoft technologies
such as mts, atl, ado, sql server, odbc, mfc, msmq, source safe, etc,
etc.
