Author sequence of exams

Hi all,

I had a couple of questions:

1. Is the 2 years of programming experience a requirement
or a just a recommendation for someone taking the MCSD
exams?

2. Can the exams be taken in any order? If so, could
someone offer their views on their preferred sequence of
exams?

Yes.

This question could be answered in many different ways. What is
preferred by one person would be not the case to others. Thus it is an
individual choice normally based on what that individual is more
confident with.

Where did you get this requirement and how do you prove the length of your
experience during registration for an exam?
I don't think that this is true

Kline's response is ambiguous in that he replied "Yes" to a 2-part question.
I think he meant to say that, "Yes, it's just a recommendation".

Kline, am I right?

Hi, Venkat

Personally, I would recommend doing the 70-100 exam last of all. I found
this to be a a tough exam and you may need the extra knowledge accumulated
from doing all the others first.

You might also consider choosing the 70-229 exam as an elective, as it's
credit for many other certifications, including MCSE and MCDBA.

Regards,
JAC.

Again I point out the fact the order is solely at the discretion of
the individual, each view would be different. Many people ( excluding
the beta takers) did the 70-100 last because it came out after the two
vb exams.

For me 70-100 was the easier of the eighteen microsoft exams I have
taken to date. You would be expected to understand a great deal more
during the technical interview with the company I am employed with, so
my 'view' is if you cannot pass this exam, I would question the
persons ability. I do accept the format is different (and better) than
the typical multi-choice questions, but microsoft did produce a demo
depicting the format in some detail; after all drag 'n' drop is not
that hard!
