Hi Shajid,

I have installed .net on my machine, OS is XP-Professional.

when I run web application it is giving the following
error:

Error while trying to run project: Unable to start
debugging on the web server. The server doesn't support
debugging of ASP.NET or ATL server applications. Run setup
to install the Visual Studio .NET server components. IF
setup has been run verify that a valid URL has been
specified.

You may aslo want to refer to the ASP.NET ans ATL Server
debugging topic in the online documentation.Would like to
disable future attempts to debug ASP.NET pages for this
project.

Any suggession is appreciated.

Thank you,
Cris

have you ever run Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer, if so you must add
the extensions
aspx, to the file: urlscan.ini

Also make sure you are part of the debuggers group:

1. Log in as "Administrator"

2. Run "Computer management" in "Administrator tools"

3. Choose "Local users and groups\groups" node

4. Double-click "Debugger users" group on right pane.

5. Click "Add" button on "Debugger users properties" dialog box.

6. Type your user account and click "Ok" button.

Other then that I don't know, as the howtosolvedebuggerproblems.doc solved
all my problems. Or you could try the following commands:
aspnet_isapi.dll with aspnet_regiis.exe -i

Hi John,

I did not find urlscan.ini file on my machine, and I am
not able to register aspnet_isapi.dll on my machine. Is
there any way to solve this problem or any user group to
support?

Any advise is appreciated,

Thanks in advance,

Cris
