I notice there is an announcement saying that the
traditional MCSD is scheduled to be discontinued, but
when I go to the page
http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/.../status/examsto
retire.asp for information about it, I see no exams in
the MCSD,say,70-100,70-015,70-016, is on that list.So I
am quite confuse now. What will happen ot MCSD after the
MCSD.net has arrived? Thank you

Where have you seen this? Obviously, it's going to be retired some day, but
I haven't seen any official info that there's a plan in place for that.

I think the MS policy is that they only announce exam retirements twice a
year (at the middle and end), and they will always give at least 6 months
notice before an exam is retired. So I think all the Visual Studio 6 exams
will continue to be available at least until the end of this year.

sorry, I misunderstood the message I saw before. And I
get my answer by browsing the messages here before. But I
still wonder if there is any necessary to get an mcsd for
visual studio 6.0 any more. aren't microsoft turning to
C# and the .net framework would struct the furure
internet?
