VB.NET doesn't have unsigned ints, operator overloading
and binary shift operators. C# does.

VB.NET is more verbose.
C# looks more intimidating to non-programmers.

If you search Google (GROUPS) on 'Which Language Should I
Choose?' you will find an interesting discussion thread
with well over a hundred 100 entries, where many people
discuss the differences of VB and C#.
