Hi,

I want to take the MCAD/MCDBA tests. But the test fee is really high for me.
Can anyone tell me: how can I get some discounts for the test fee?

You may dislike my answer, but you have to pay that high fee. If you pass
any test, its fee look like double or tripple for you. So you have to be
prepared.

It is possible to get some discounts by using the voucher. The price of
voucher may be lower on the end of year (when a test center cannot sell them
off stock), but not during this period. Another option, is to have someone
(e.g. employer) pay for you.

If you can take multiple tests on the same day, for continuous days. You can
book a flight to take the test at the country where the test fee is lower. I
used to see an American travel to take the test in my country, but this is
the rare case.

I am not sure but you may be able to try IT Academy certifications, which
are similar but cheaper.

As far as I know there is a 45% discount for MCTs, but to be eligible you
need to become an MCT first! There are also discounts if a company registers
for exams in volumes. But I don't think that they apply to your case.
