Validating an MCSD

| Hi, I received someone's resume stating that they are an
MCSD. Does anyone here know how I can validate this
credential?

I'm not familiar with any direct way to validate the credential without
their knowledge (others here might know).
Way way back (in the old days) of PowerBuilder certification the
directory was publicly available on the internet. It seems that other
technology certifications do not follow this trend.
Other ways...
1) you can have them send in a copy of their transcript or certificate.
2) if you have them in the office with you, they can log on to the
certification website where you can view/print the transcript
information.

and print the official transcript.
