Probably every single one. The frustration of this will fade quickly. Funny
thing is, the original 70-300 Beta was much worse. I NEVER got notification
from them and had to chase down the information to find out my result.

| I visited Prometric site a moment ago and they changed the reporting,
instead of showing only "Taken", now they show "Passed", "Failed" and I
have "Failed" for 71-300. I assume from earlier posts that might mean
that results have not been processed yet. Don't you know if they keep
"Taken" for unprocessed exams?

| Weird...
I'd guess if it says "failed" then that is probably what
it is? What else could it be?
I visited VUE online, and for 71-300 it still shows status
as "Taken" for me... So how come you've got your results
already, and I haven't got a thing?!
Damn!

If not, do not make any assumptions.

Exactly. Until we hear reports of 'pass' results, I think we should assume
Prometric doesn't have results yet. They've been reporting 'failed' for
weeks.
Prometric's status can be checked at http://register.prometric.com, click
'Candidate History'. Mine says 'failed', and that's also what they told me
yesterday by phone when I was making arrangements for another exam. But I
don't think we can rely on their information yet.
Another warning, MS transcript updates for betas have historically trickled
in. So just because someone else has the exam listed and you don't won't
necessarily mean you didn't pass. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to
the updates - they don't seem to follow the chronology of when we actually
took the exam. But it usually takes a few days for all the pass results to
show up. And unfortunately for recent betas it has taken even longer for
those who tested with VUE.
So I'm rechecking my online transcript at
https://partnering.one.microsoft.co...tools/trans.asp and watching the
newsgroups for reports of other people *passing*. Until we see something
positive from those places, I think it's safe to assume that no actual
results are available yet.

| I just visited Prometric Site and it just show that Registration Status:
Completed and Exam Status: Tested. How come your history is showing Pass or
failed. I am puzzled, where and which information is right, not sure. I will
just forget that I have taken this exam.

| It was confusing to me too until Tim posted that link.
There are two different sites at Prometric where you are registered and I
was surprised to see that my profiled I updated on one (2test) was not
updated on Prometric as well.
The history on
http://www.2test.com
shows Tested.
The one on
http://register.prometric.com
shows Failed.
Are they two different companies (Prometric and 2Test)?

I think that there is no use in checking prometric, the final word is the
transcript from MS.
Cheers.

| Yes, I understand that but I'm still curious why Prometric has two sites and
the info is different.
Consider it a developer curiosity :-)

They are the same company. I think the different data presented is just
another symptom of their lack of technical expertise.
The two sites also ask for different login info. www.2test.com asks for my
'User Name', but http://register.prometric.com asks for my email address.
They actually did recently improve the 2test.com output - it wasn't sorted
when I checked a few weeks ago, but now it is chronological.
Let's just hope they never require passport logins! The secure MCP site
seems to have a new improved page for reporting error codes. Right now, my
magic number is -2147024882. They should offer a prize if you get an error
code that matches your MCP ID, it would make it a bit less frustrating.

They should send their developers to take some MS exams :-)

I've noticed that.

"Not enough storage is available to complete this operation."
I've seen it a few days ago.

Good idea! Can I change my MCP ID to a number I choose, for example
0x8007000E ? :-)
>it would make it a bit less frustrating.
I was thinking to write a small .NET app to check the transcript
automatically every 5 minutes and start an alarm if 70-300 shows as passed.
That would be a good opportunity to learn more. Unfortunately I do not have
time.
