I hope someone does a Case Study on the current MCP Secure Site. It sounds
like several of us are getting any number of errors from server busy and
access denied.

Here is the latest I got from the passport entry

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0007'

Out of memory: 'CMD_PREV_MIGRATE_MCT'

/MCP/AuthFiles/Reg/Include/CertRegCodeSrvGlobals.asp, line 36

What lessons do we programmers have to learn?

I just got that one too! That was the first time I'd seen *that* error.

Here's what I have learned
1. passport doesn't work. Regardless of how many users are simultaneously
trying to access the secure MCP site it stands to reason that it's not
drastically different than before the passport upgrade, which coincided
exactly with a drastic drop in site availability.
2. 500-13 is the HTTP error code for 'server too busy'

Seriously, given what a train wreck the MCP site passport integration has
been, we should thank MS for the convincing 'disproof of concept'. My
company would be out of business if we made such a big misstep.

Background
.... Microsoft is the software company . . .blah blah blah blah ...

C3PO Interview
.... We speak your language. Security is our priority, blah blah blah blah
....

Proposed Solutions
You purpose to replace too modern .NOT passport with old LDAP directory.
To avoid SQL slammer version 2 with service hack 8, you advise migration to
MySQL. About the too busy error message, you propose two alternative
solutions. The
first is to replace the error message with too many [paper] MCSEs to handle.
The second is to migrate to an array of BEA weblogic servers. blah blah blah

Question #1. What is the really problem?
a. Too sophisticate technology.
b. Too many users
c. Human error
d. Network problem
e. No MCSD.NET in company

:-)
