| This question is primarily aimed at MCSDs: if you were to begin studying for
the MCSD cert today, knowing everything you do now, what would be the
optimum order in which to take the exams?
I took 70-176 then 70-175 and am now studying for 70-100, leaving either
70-052 or 70-229 as my elective. I wonder if taking 70-100 initially
would've given me a better vantage point and thus an advantage in subsequent
exams.
Now, of course, the issue is in which order should the MCSD.Net exams be
taken for best effect. Any insights would be appreciated.

| For MCSD and MCSD .NET I prefer to do the architecture exams (70-100/70-300)
at the end because you do gain a little by knowing the 'technicals' of the
other exams.
Again for both: I prefer to do the 70-229 as the first one; some SQL Server
knowledge is handy when doing the other exams.
The order of the other two (three) exams seems obvious MSCD: 70-176 and then
70-175 (just study a little on MTS for the latter) MSCD .NET: no particular
order but in my opinion windows exam, webapps exam and then the webservices
and remoting exam to do them in order of difficulty.
All may vary upon prior knowledge but this is what I advise to my students.
