| After passing the Live exam on Feb 11 I got an early
achiever kit for MCSD.NET a few days later. Unfortunately,
it had the wrong name on it! It was completely someone
elses name.
Just wait a few weeks (they said 4 to 6 weeks in the email
reply) and hope that they get your name correct.

I saw a few people in the office having a laugh the other day. Turned out
that one of the analysts had received a letter informing her that she had
passed the 70-300 beta exam. This was a bit strange considering she never
took the exam, and has not taken a Microsoft exam for over three years! What
is even more ironic is that you could not meet a more anti-Microsoft person!
Still I guess it is their own way of saying 'can we kiss & make-up?"

| I have to wait 4 to 6 "Microsoft weeks" (LONG) for my kit. The lesson
here is that you must have patience if you take the beta. Anyway, what
do you get in the early achiever kit? Any perks at all?

I think the certificate and wallet card will be different than the standard
non-early-achiever versions, but otherwise I don't think there's anything
else different or additional.

| Did the certificate say MCSD for .NET in it? Did it look different from the
old MCSD certificate? What about the wallet card?

Yes, both the certificate and wallet card say they're for .NET, and 'Early
Achiever' too. Both look different than any earlier ones I've gotten.
They're gold colored, and the wallet card also specifies the date the
MCSD.NET was completed.
