Hello,

Only C# and Basic are necessary for MCSD.
What does this mean for C++?

Maybe it means microsoft considers C++ to difficult for the average
MCSD to master!

well c++ has long been associated with win32s and i think microsoft is
trying to redesign the executive services and would eventually like to have
..net framework as core api layer...
ie the death of win32... not now... probably not even in the next OS
release... but the one after.... longhorn would probably have them at
par....

so yes... eventually phase out win32s... and probably c++ (even with com...
you had to use only couldnt use multiple inheritence... but that was rather
making do with c++) i think with java coming into picture and then .net i
think microsoft just refined the whole thing...

Thankfully C++ is not proprietary to microsoft (or anyone else).
