Mike - you probably need to install DirectX.

You can get it from:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx
or
Try the "Windows Update" link in your start bar and look
for DirectX in the list of updates.

Either way you are posting in the wrong forum to get
proper answers. I would suggest you search for "DirectX
forums" on the internet and post any further questions
there.
