| Hi all,
I missed the opportunity to take the .NET Architectures beta (*kicks self*),
but now I want to take the exam when it goes live. The first week it goes
live as fate would have it.
I'm an experienced Microsoft developer - 10+ years developing for MS systems
(remember 16-bit VB 3). Took and passed the WOSSA exams way back when. Took
and passed the last architectures exam (70-100) in the beta period. (Two
free exam vouchers and a free copy of Visual Studio 6.0 Professional
Edition -- those were the days!)
So the question is, what are the core technologies covered by the exam? From
previous posts, people have said you have to know "web services". Some ORM
is on the exam - reading models mostly. No MSF.
What else am I missing? Any VS.NET tools? Languages? Framework classes?
Databases? Anything like that?
Thanks, your responses are appreciated.

| Have a general idea what MS Host Integration Server is. As I recall I saw a
few generic questions concerning what it will or won't do. Anybody else
remember? Those questions made me uncomfortable, since I had never really
even heard of it before. :^)

| You need to be aware of all the microsoft tools & products, together
with the role they play is enterprise software development. After all
look at the name of the exam 'Analyzing Requirements and Defining
Microsoft .NET Solution Architectures'.

years myself.....
