| According to an e-mail from Micrsosoft's South Central District, the MCSD
will be officially announced on February 10th. This might mean that the
remaining exam 70-300 will probably be live by that point.
This should help put a ceiling on the latest date, that those of us who took
the beta, should wait.
I copied the information directly from the e-mail here:
..NET Developer Training And Certification Update
On February 10, Microsoft will announce the availability of the new MCSD for
..NET credential. Created for advanced developers who design and build
enterprise solutions, the MCSD for .NET helps developers validate .NET
skills and demonstrate those skills to clients and employers.

In support of a Feb. 10 go-live date, on the MCSD FAQ page
(http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/mcp/mcsd/faq.asp),
the "Content updated" says Feb. 10, 2003 (did the last
update of IE install a crystal ball plug-in?) and the last
MCSD.NET question reads:
Q. When will MCSD exams for Microsoft .NET be available?
A. All exams are available now. See MCSD for
Microsoft .NET requirements.
The 70-300 preparation guide page, however, still quotes
a "by February 2003" "date".
I can't stand the suspense! I WANNA KNOW NOW!!!
