| Hi,
I'm working for a software company in UK using .net
environment since 2001. I've started studying for 70-316
for the last few weeks. I have bought MS-Press Self Paced
training kit for Windows Applications and Charles Petzolds
Programming MS-Windows with C#. I have finished the 1st
book but now when i take the practice tests my score is
between 50-60. Is there any other resources that I can use
to increase my scores for this exam? There is not enough
practice tests available on the internet as the exam is
released recently. Below, there are my scoring details on
the practice test of MS-Press.

2.Creating & Managing Components and .net Assemblies 50%
3.Consuming and Manipulating Data 44%
4.Testing and Debugging 50%
5.Deploying a Windows-Based Application 100%
6.Maintaining and Supporting a Win-Based App 0%
7.Configuring and Securing a Win-Based App 33%
Overall:58%

| I can't help you for 70-316, but based on my experience with
MS-Press books and Practice test included with training kits,
when you subtract about 150 from your score then you have
nearly correct score for the real exam.
Any way I think you must read again the 1st book, but why you
aren't read 2nd book, or I missed something ?

| I'm reading the second book nowadays. I'll finish it in
two weeks time  but i don't think the second book will
help me with the exam. it contains codes of windows forms
in detail but the exam is far more different. Never mind,
thanks anyway for your comments about the scoring.
