Why 70-024 MFC retired ?

| Hi,
Why was MCSD Exam 70-024 "Developing Application Using Visual C++ and MFC
Library " was retired...??
Or in other words what is the criteria of retiring an Exam.
Also would like to know , that as now MCAD is being laucnched, whats the
future scope of MCSD ... whats the guarantee that MSFT will not retire all
MCSD exams.

In general, Microsoft retires exams when the technology skills they test
are out of date.
