just wonder when we draw E-R Diagrams in exam 70-100, do we need to arrange
it properly, or as long as we draw the require connection it will do,
without arrange it beautifully.

It can be as ugly as you like, as long as the correct connections are made.
For a while at least, the VUE software would even 'rearrange' the diagram if
you left the question and then came back to it. The connections were all
still the same, but boxes would be repositioned for no apparent reason.

I recommend drawing the diagram on paper and then 'copying' that to the
computer. The exam software interface is pretty clumsy and relatively small
screen size makes some of the diagrams a tight squeeze.

Make sure also that you realise that the connections are "one-way" - i.e.
the direction DOES count!! Made that mistake once in a practice test - boy
did it hurt the score!!
