| I posted a message a while back and the response from one or two
people was that the official books for MCSD.NET are not very good. I
was wondering whether using Jeff Prossise's new book is any better?
thanks

| Prosise's book is pretty good, it has some good chapters on Remoting and
ASP.NET. I would also get Jeffrey Richter's book on .NET Framework
Programming and maybe look for one on Security like the one from APress by
Jason Bock.
Cheers,
Jason

| How about the book by Charles Petzold? It appears to be mostly around
windows forms, but it is recommended by MS and it is 1300 pages..based
on his other books, this one should be dandy too..
take care
