Where do i check my MCP status

| HI,
I have cleared my two core exams of MCSD track. Although i
got the result sheet then and there, I havent received any
confirmatory mail from MS regarding my MCP status.
Is there any place where i can check my MCP status with
Microsoft ??

| MS sends a welcome package. They say it takes upto 6 weeks.
In the welcome package you will receive a cert card with your number, and a
letter explaining how to access the MCP site. The site is no big deal,
believe me you are not missing anything. It is good for checking your
certification progress and transcript. Over and above that....

| Generally, if you haven't heard anything within 2 weeks of passing, it is
best to email mcphelp@microsoft.com and they can look into it for you.
In my case, they got me to email them a scanned image of my passing score
sheet, and contacted the testing centre directly. For the rest of my exams,
they updated the transcript within a day or so.

Do they also send this package to those who pass the BETA exams? I passed
the C# and VB.NET exams but I haven't got any similar package as when I
passed 70-229 (SQL2000) - which wasn't BETA.

| You only get a new package when you get a new certification, not for passing
every exam. Your first one got you the MCP certification, but you haven't
completed another cert like MCSD yet. Maybe you've completed the MCAD, but
those results won't be in for a while yet. If you did complete the MCAD via
beta certs, you should get the welcome kit for it after results are
released.
In the meantime, checking your online transcript is the best way to confirm
MS has all your exam results recorded correctly.

| Of course, thanks Tim... guess I´ll have to wait another 6 weeks before
knowing if I got the Web service exam => MCAD! 
yes, the transcript was updated exactly 8 weeks after I took the first exam,
hope it will happen sooner this time... drives me nuts waiting
