Author Grading scheme for 70-100

Hi:

I can't understand the way 70-100 is graded. Normally, there 8 choice
questions and 4 case studies. Among each CS, there are varied number
of choice questions and interactive questions. I understand each CS
question carries point. I get the partial credit for certain CS
depending on the points I achieved.

What I don't understand is what is the weight for each CS. In general,
how the total weight is distributed? Is it fixed or varied from exam
to exam?

Thanks!
Tim

In general, the more complicated questions are worth more points. If a case
study has only a small number of questions, or those questions are
relatively simple, it won't be worth as much as a longer case study.

Don, I think it varies from exam to exam and case study to case study.

I can theorize on this all day, but here's my advice if you have
transcender. (In theory you could even do this with the demo
version.) DO NOT DO THIS UNTIL YOU HAVE THOROUGHLY STUDIED FOR 70-100
AND USED THE TRANSCENDERS NORMALLY.

Options
Grade Item ON
Intentionally don't answer ANY other questions, but the case study you
are working with.
Answer the case study perfectly (this involves looking at the answers)
Score your exam.

Do this for each case study, and for the testlet. You will find
results will vary across the three tests.

Also read the INSTRUCTIONS to find out how much everything is worth
INSIDE a case study.
