| Hi guys,
I am using the book MCSD BY OSOBORNE to prepare for 70-306. Is it helpful ?
Can someone give me tips to successfully clear this exam ?
I do not have any experience in VB . But i have done vb in school about 2
years ago.

I've not seen the book. But mine own view is those type's of books
tend not to be very good.

Make sure you have read and understand the prep guide. Use the msdn
and the product to reinforce your understanding of the topics defined
in the prep guide, i.e. have a good play around.
If you want, buy one or two books on the product (avoid anything with
mcsd/mcad in the title), ms press and wrox press have some good books.
Check the reviews in the online books stores or better still get to a
book shop and read a chapter or two and decide for yourself.

VB.net is very different to the previous versions of VB. What you did
two years ago (assuming this was vb 5/6 and not a beta of vb.net),
will not really help you too much in preparing for the exam.

| the osborne book is a disaster, i've only read a few
chapters, full of errors, stealing literally complete
paragraphs from the msdn, can be downloaded with kz, but
it isn't worth download time
