| This is a very hard exam to study for! Knowing the material in the
preparation guide/ exam cram is not terribly helpful. Knowing how to USE it
is. The problem is the breadth of the exam content. There are 4 case
studies. I felt it important to have a good understanding of DB design and
ability to derive data flows from the case studies. It reminded me of the
reading comprehension tests I had to take when I was in school! ;-) The
exam is really a measure of how well you can take the content of the case
studies and apply it to the design process, create a database & show the
data flows and answer some specific questions about the case study (in
multiple choice form). The main topics are n-tier design, with emphasis on
data services. I can pretty much guarantee you will not see any questions
related specifically to MSF. I was disappointed because I did memorize a
lot of that! But you know what? I really did get a lot out of studying it
and am glad I did!

| More advice:
70-100 has a relatively unique format. Microsoft has a demo of this test
format at this URL
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...ReleaseID=24518
I strongly urge you to download this and get comfortable with these question
formats as they are far from 100% intuitive and you don't want to be
learning them AT the exam, do you?

Data flow, work flow, entity relationships & best practices. Some
microsoft specific questions but these should be quite simple.
Make sure you understand the exam format, try out the transcender
demo.
